Boost eBay Daily Sales With Just a Few Tweaks
There are around 25 million sellers on the eBay platform, you’d think competition might be the cause sales have been decreased over time. Well, that’s not the only reason behind it. For all eBay sellers who claim that sales are slow, they’ll end up finding another seller whose sales are on peak. The opportunity to earn money through eBay is still available there, and if you follow the listed factors, your sales will boost immediately with just a few tweaks.
Daily Listing
eBay consultant Suzanne said that you may participate in the batch listing and get 25 items listed for sale at the end of the week and they take a break. However, a better approach is to list one item a day. If you’re unable to manage a listing on daily basis, you can stock them when you have time, using the “save and continue” button at the footer of each listing, and then “complete” the listing later on. You’ll be shocked by how making this single change will affect your overall sales.
Keywords Use in Listing
You only have 80 characters limit to define your item in the eBay listing title, therefore don’t waste it writing words and phrases that buyers are not looking for. Try to use those keywords that buyers mostly use. These include descriptions like “best,” “perfect” or “robust”. These kinds of terms are considered vague. In its place, prefer the facts such as item type, brand name, size, features, color, manufacturing year, model number, pattern and relevant words. Moreover, avoid keyword spamming as it’s ambiguous and can get you in trouble.
Take Clear Photos
Clear photos can increase or decrease sales, so when you’re in doubt just take several. Use a mannequin if you need to display clothing, just to show the buyer how these clothes look like on them or use a photo box to capture smaller items like rings or coins. Moreover, try free editing software like Photoshop to crop the unimportant items in the background or to tweak the color. Avoid using other eBay seller’s photos.
Add Measurements
Buyers need details about their purchase such as measurements. Photos can be deceptive sometimes, even you add a coin or ruler to the picture for scale. So help avoid returns by informing the buyer regarding the measurement of products they are purchasing. Adding this superfluous information won’t necessarily affect the number of sales you make, it can reduce the number of return requests you got, which will scale your profits.
60-Day Return Policy
Most of the sellers deny accepting returns from buyers’ end, which shows unprofessional behavior. When a buyer reports that an item was not the same as described, eBay offers a refund policy. You can also select to go with a 14-day return period or even 30 days, but increasing the window to 60 days help to scale your profit.
There are several interest groups on social platforms such as Facebook, where you can share links to listings with the relevant audience. Pinterest is another place where you can create boards to group like items and post there as you list products for sale.
